In providing a selected range of services, we are focused on what we do and perform at a high level. As a training company, we are always updated on best practices. Due to our commitment in ensuring quality, we work until we have maximized our knowledge and talent to satisfy our clients.

Teamwork

Through collaboration among the staff, we keep one another accountable in our commitment to excellence. Our staff learn from one another and assist each other throughout the development process. Problems are minimized through the collective effort in producing the best product possible.

Training

We provide our staff with continuous training so technical skills and customer service increase in an ongoing basis to meet the latest trends and technologies. Staff members also take the initiative to learn and improve their technical skills. Additionally, we provide other skills training, such as in administration and personal finance, in accordance with our values as a social business.

Sustainability

Web Essentials is a team and as such, all staff are involved in decision-making. Through being team-driven, we aim to develop leaders and ensure quality performance from every staff member. In addition, Web Essentials seeks to develop long-term partnerships with European web developers. With this approach, we seek to stabilize project intake and build staff capacity.

Ethics

As a social business, we have signed onto the Clean Business Initiative in Cambodia to end corruption. Our practices are transparent and ensure we maintain good working conditions, such as providing market-rate salaries and a five-day work week. Currently, we are seeking to form a board composed of seasoned social businessmen and those involved in human rights work to be accountable to as Web Essentials grows and evolves as a social business.

Intellectual Property Rights

We take intellectual property rights seriously by using open source software where possible. This enables our staff to grow in the usage of freely available systems which they will always be able to use and change according to their needs. We purchase all our closed source software instead of using pirated software from the local market in order to respect our worldwide partners (which do the same) and to promote a virus free environment optimized for productivity.
